My name is Luke, I'm 30 and live in Hudsonville, MI. This is basically just a personal website about me and my views on various topics. Some years back I decided to change my lifestyle quite a bit starting with how I ate, along with this came an awakening of sorts. I felt my mindset was stuck in the ignorant views of the majority, and I began to think for myself. I started eating better and thinking more logically, and did not feel like becoming the follower that so much of humanity is. I opened my eyes and decided to see what most people refuse to, even if it's right in front of them. What I saw was a messed up world, and few people that really give a shit. It's about improvement, not perfection, but rarely do many even try for a marked effort to better the world as a whole. It seems more people are concerned with putting effort fourth into their invisable gods. I am sure a combination of both God and earth would please most superior entities.

I still have my fun. A cigar once in awhile. A night of fun at the bar on Saturday nights. However I try to balance this living healthy during the rest of the week. What is good balance? I guess some would have their own take on this. However compared to how I was years ago, I am certainly better off now. It's really about personal gain to affect the world in a positive light. We use up resources the earth has to offer, it seems chaotic no matter what we do. I guess I just want to try to make a few changes to give a little back, where I wasn't giving back at all years ago.

We also have the issue of being forced to use destructive creations in order to live in what modern society would consider a normal life. It is unfortunate that we have advancements in technology to make things so much better, yet very little of these better ideas are put into play. Corporations and government play a big part in this. We had diesel engines that could run on peanut oil in 1900. Why do we rely on petroleum?

I currently work at a health food store, and love to try to help people on their quests to become healthier and better to the earth. I try to show people ways to use natural methods before modern medicine. This is the way it should be. I am for the most part a nice guy, and mostly non-violent. I would rather make friends then anything else. I do also have a pretty sick and twisted sense of humor. I find things funny where others may find them highly offensive. As far as religion goes, I admire Paganism and Buddhism, but I do not have a titled religion for myself. I would have to say for myself, praying to or positive actions within nature makes more sense to me considering you see it everyday.
